Cable Wrap is suitable for insulation up to 1kV (layer) and designed to be compatible with low-voltage insulation.
Cable Wrap is ideal for complex power connection geometries and limited access areas where heat shrink tubing is difficult to apply.
The product shrinks lengthwise and forms a smooth and dense insulating layer throughout.

CABLE WRAP

CABLE WRAP has been specially developed for the permanent protection of electrical cables and mechanical components.

Special Features:

  • Is suitable for many complex power connection geometries and restricted access areas where heat shrink hoses are difficult to install.
  • The product shrinks in the longitudinal direction and forms a consistently smooth and dense insulating layer.
  • Is very adaptable and can be used to protect, as a marker, or also for the production of various shapes (e.g.: handle covers or caps).
  • Has a unique adhesive layer that melts when heated and is forced into cracks and gaps by the shrinking outer casing.
  • The glue adheres many materials including plastic, rubber, neoprene, steel and polyethylene.
  • Provides excellent protection against corrosion, UV rays, water, chemicals and acids.
  • Suitable for connecting cables of different diameter.

Instructions for use

The surface must always be clean, dry and free of impurities such as oil, rust or grease. During installation, the tape must be wrapped in a spiral with an overlap of 50%. The product is heated using a hot air gun and shrinks firmly around the material; at the same time, the sealing adhesive melts and penetrates into all surface irregularities.
Storage: The product must be kept away from moisture, dirt and sunlight.
