Instructions for use
The surface must be clean, dry and free of contaminants such as oil or grease. The best results are achieved when the surface is slightly abraded before bonding.
When using an activator is to note that the activator should be applied to one side and the adhesive to the other side.
When bonding O-rings, a piece should be truncated at both ends to get a clean surface, this type of application achieves the best possible strength.
Bonding time: Under normal conditions, the hardening process is initiated by the surface or air moisture. The functional strength for bonds with cyanoacrylate adhesives is very fast, however a curing time of at least 24 hours should be allowed in order to achieve optimum chemical/solvent resistance. The curing time is dependent on the respective material.
Cleaning:
Fresh and cured adhesive can be removed with Zyrobond Debonder. Plastics and painted surfaces are to be checked for suitability before use
