Instructions for use

The surface must be clean, dry and free from contaminants such as oil, rust or grease. Highly absorbent and porous surfaces must be prepared with a temperature-adjusted primer. The joints should be at least 4 mm wide and 4 mm deep. The maximum joint is 30 mm width and 10 mm depth. For joints over 10 mm width, the joint depth should not exceed half of the joint width. Larger joints should be filled with a heat-resistant backfill material (such as ceramic band) before sealing. It is advisable to cover the joint edges with masking tape to ensure a clean and straight bond. The sealant must be applied so that enough pressure takes place on the joint flanks. It is particularly important to ensure that no air bubbles are in the grout. Immediately flatten the applied sealant with a spatula. For bonding, a vertical, caterpillar-shaped application is recommended to ensure enough supply of humidity during the cross-linking process.
