Instructions for use
The surface must be clean, dry and free from contaminants such as oil, rust or grease. At high pressure, the line must be shut off. Wear the enclosed protective gloves, dip the bandage in water, knead several times and immediately wrap around the repair site. 10 layers are required in order to achieve the specified pressure resistance of 30 bar. If needed or for larger pipe diameters, multiple roles can be installed together. The gloves should also be used to smooth the surface. A dual-component putty should additionally be applied to highly damaged or heavily rusted piping components. The putty can even be used even with acute water leaks (up to 1 bar).
Safety
The cured bandage is food safe and meets all requirements of drinking water approval under BS6920 (test of the impact of the cured product in the presence of drinking water).
